Your page. Your privacy.

Signing in with TCM

TCM handles sign-in with your chosen provider. We receive your stable TCM account identifier, display name, and email if your provider shares one. We store your TCM identifier to recognise your account and connect it to your page. Your provider password stays with TCM and its provider; we do not store provider access or refresh tokens. An encrypted, temporary cookie verifies the sign-in callback and expires after ten minutes.

What we store

When you create an account, we store your email, a securely hashed password, your chosen handle, and the profile and links you save. We store temporary session records to keep you signed in and temporary request counters to limit abuse. Your browser also stores a local draft while you try the editor without an account.

What becomes public

Publishing makes your name, bio, avatar symbol, and enabled links publicly accessible. Your email and password are never included on your public page. Anyone can copy or share public information. Unpublishing hides your page and disables its outgoing links, but cannot remove copies saved elsewhere.

Cookies and click counts

We use an essential session cookie for sign-in. We count outgoing link clicks in aggregate for each page and link. These counts are approximate and do not identify individual visitors. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your information.

Hosting and security

The application and account data are hosted on Google Cloud in Sydney, Australia. Google’s network and our load balancer process technical request information, including IP addresses, to serve the site and operate the service. Operational logs may contain requested URLs and technical identifiers. Google Fonts receives requests from your browser when the site loads its typography.

Your controls

You can edit your page, hide individual links, unpublish, change your password, or permanently delete your account from the editor. Account deletion removes your account, profile, click totals, and sign-in sessions from the live database. Temporary abuse prevention records expire automatically. Operational logs follow the hosting provider’s retention settings.

For TCM accounts, manage sign-in methods through TCM. Deleting your alinkin.bio account removes its TCM connection and your page here; your TCM account and accounts with other services remain active.
